Just returned from a wonderful week in Douville.
Truly lovely property, incredible views, peaceful location and the most incredible sky at night.
The house is really well proportioned, beautifully presented and has everything you need to ensure a relaxing break.
Can't recommend enough.

Thank you very much for our wonderful two weeks, your home is beautiful, as is the view! We loved spending lazy days by the pool in the sunshine, watching the lightening roll across the hills in the evening and then stargazing at night. We really appreciated the use of your telescope, hunting for the moons of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn and counting the craters on our own moon. We had a wonderful week staying here at the end of July. The house was beautifully decorated, well-equipped and surrounded by lovely countryside. The weather was great and the pool was a fabulous way to cool off. The house is close to lots of great restaurants and towns and there's lots to do in the surrounding area. Yvonne who looks after the house is lovely and Eileen and Jeremy are perfect hosts. We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely location.

Lovely house in stunning surroundings. We had a quiet, relaxed week in Douville, which was just what the four of us needed.
The house was impressively well equipped, specially in the kitchen (plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses) and the little touches i.e welcome pack, was very much appreciated.
Would recommend it for anyone wanting to get away fromthe hustle and bustle of city life.

We had a marvellous holiday the first week in September. The house is very welcoming and has everything you would need, a great kitchen with lots of
equipment for those who like to cook, plenty of bedrooms and a lovely balcony leading out of two of the main bedrooms. We enjoyed a drink on the balcony and watched the stars every evening, it was a nice touch to have the telescope to look at the stars. We enjoyed the swimming pool daily and had temperatures up to 32 degrees. We had such a restful week and felt really relaxed by the end of our week. We look forward to coming back if not next year then the next.

We stayed the last 2 weeks of August 2018 and had the most amazing time. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and well maintained as is the swimming pool, and the views from the lounge and bedrooms are a big wow!!
We were a party of 4 Adults, 1 teenager and 3 children under 8 years old the house was plenty big enough and offered something to all ages. Eileen has lots of info on the local area and places to visit or you can just spend a relaxing day by the pool. I would personally recommend this beautiful villa to anyone and have done so. Thank you to Eileen and her husband on delivering on what you have advertised and we hope to visit again one day

We had the most fantastic week at the house, bbq's, swimming everyday, relaxing in the house and garden. We visited lots of places as the house is so central. Thoroughly recommend lac de neufont (on the way to Vergt) if you have children/teenagers. There is a swimming lake, water slide, paddle boarding and pedalos, cafe, picnic areas. We also canoed down the Dordogne river. Details for this in the house and you can pre book on Facebook or over the phone. Great time had by all and we look forward to returning in the future.

We had a great week in the house. Totally recommend it for all ages. Lovely quiet little village , lovely views and a wonderful house pool and garden. We had... interesting ... weather but kids still got in pool everyday. Not too far to bigger towns of bergerac and perigeux. Thanks for letting us stay!

There was lots of room in the house. I loved the conservatory at the rear of the house - it felt like being in the beautiful garden! We were a family of four adults and two children - but we never felt on top of each other.
The birds were amazing, and I was captivated by the lizards by the steps! The garden was beautiful, as were the views and the peace.
Despite the weather, we had three BBQs and used the lovely pool every day.

Super house beautifully situated in an area where life takes place at a refreshingly slow pace. Yet the charming Perigord
Towns are easily accessible & we especially loved Limeuil & exploring the Dordogne by kayak. By nightfall the bright skies provided the backdrop for the bat show by the pool!

We have recently returned from a weeks stay at the holiday home Douville. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a very relaxing place to unwind either reading in the lovely gardens or swimming in the pool. The facilities in the house are excellent including a dishwasher, which is a nice touch, and not that common in France. I found the BBQ was really good to use and large enough to cook for a large family, we used it 4 or 5 times during our stay.
If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay I would recommend The french holiday home at Douville.

We have just returned from a fabulous week in paradise! I visited with my husband, 11 year old daughter and my parents.
The house is beautiful as are the gardens and the pool!
It is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a home from home environment. We were so lucky to have gorgeous weather throughout our stay and enjoyed the pool until 7:30pm each evening! The night sky is just amazing and my daughter loved watching the shooting stars that you can see so clearly!
Reah was friendly and did what he needed to do with cleaning the pool without being in anyway intrusive.
Eileen, you have been wonderful to deal with and made booking our holiday simple and without fuss whilst keeping us fully informed and answering any questions I had.
We have made lovely memories and all five of us cannot wait to return, in the words of my 11 year old "please can we just live here!"

Such a beautiful house and garden. We have had a wonderful holiday and Eileen couldn't have done anything more for us to make it feel like home! Eileen has thought of everything! We were very sad to say goodbye to the house today! The local agents are also very attentive and friendly. Thank you so much from all of us!

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay in douville and we enjoyed every minute. Eileen and Jeremy have thought of everything to keep guests comfortable including a fantastic welcome basket with a few essentials that are much needed after a long journey including milk in the fridge!
The house is immaculate and the pool and grounds are kept beautifully by Reah who was extremely helpful and friendly and more than happy to help us with any queries if needed.
We would definitely like to come back one day - I am already missing the views from house over the fantastic garden and beyond.

We enjoyed a week here at the end of June 2017 with 3 teenagers. The house is in a beautiful setting and is very well equipped and clean. The pool is well kept by Reah who is helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Eileen and Jeremy were most helpful when booking and have provided a house book with lots of useful information about the property and surrounding area.
We were unfortunate enough to have bad weather during our stay but with the canopy over the outside dining table we could still enjoy being outside and watch the storms rolling in across the beautiful views whilst the teenagers played table tennis in the garage. It also gave us chance to explore the area which has many great things to see and do.
We would definitely return for another peaceful relaxing holiday.

What a lovely house. The setting was great, I really did enjoy looking out over the small valley every morning and the lack of light pollution meant the stars at night were especially impressive. I would happily book and stay again. I recommend it to anyone. The facilities were perfect for us. Thank you for assisting in making our stay so wonderful.
